An amniotic egg is defined by the embryo developing inside an amnion, and having a calcium or leather based shell. Chicken eggs have an amnion inside and a calcium based shell so I figured why not.

The Segmented Body Of A Crab

This little part of a crab has seen better days but there’s still no denying that even just the leg is segmented which means that this counts for a segmented body. (Also with another concerned smiley.)

This rockweed has adapted to its environment by growing gel filled sacs that are lighter than water, making the seaweed stand closer to the surface enabling it to get more sunlight for photosynthesis. (My smiley looks mildly concerned about the rockweed.)

An insect is something defined by being a small arthropod with one or two sets of wings and 6 legs. This little guy was stuck in a window and had a very neat orange color to him, the smiley on my finger is faded but it’s still there.

These horsetail plants have a perfect example of a modified leaf. These leaves have become thin and long, I’m not sure of the purpose but if I’d ever seen a modified leaf that would be one.

While this sounds complicated it is in reality quite simple. The filament is the long tube that holds the anther which has the pollen on it. So on this flower you can see the bottom of the filament and the anther is toward the top.
